My Coach

This is my old Bird. I've owned her for 18 years! I'm a huge Wanderlodge fan so I'll help anyone with any information that I can give.

The screens are attached with snaps, rivets through the steel. Thanks for the well wishes !

nice pic and good looking coach, thx for posting.

i aspire to own a Wanderlodge and came very close to buying a Ď94 BMC a few years ago but wifeís kitchen remodel won out. I had to make do with a Ď95 dynasty that is serving as my proof of concept for DP ownership ... time will tell re Wanderlodge in our family.

sigh.

are you PT or FT?

She is a 1980 FC33. 1980 is the first year for air ride, 4 bags per axle. Wanderlodge's weigh about 1000# per foot so loaded up for battle it comes in just under that at ~30000lbs. This fall I replaced the engine with a new old stock CAT 3208 250T which was a pretty fun job and I now know a lot more than I did about what goes on in the engine room.
BMC's are great coach's. Blue Bird built a tough body and lets be honest, it is nice to know Spartan is in business and ready to help. All Blue Birds are a great deal in today's RV market, the community is alive and well, parts are no issue and online support rivals any brand. Jump in! The water is great!
