I do not have a transfer switch on my MH. When I unplug from shore power and store shore power cord, that is when I plug into the female power plug in the power cord compartment. I just roll it up and plug it in. My funds are limited and this works for me.

Love the work you are doing. As you have seen, finding and fixing all leaks is a top priority.

choke set up

my original carburetor is missing some piece of linkage for my choke to work properly, I was told this by the guy that I had working on it, he was too busy last summer to hardly do anything for me, any ideas from you learned motorheads out there with carburetor knowledge what it, is or where I can find this piece, I have no idea why someone would remove this piece

Hammer, any way to post a pic of the place where the linkage would be? if its the small rod style, I have made them with everything from coathangers to small rod bought at a hardware store.

Is it possible the missing linkage part is due to a previous owner having installed a manual choke system? You might find a part in a salvage yard.

Hammer, I am going to assume that its a Qjet 4bl carb, Between me and my son we have taken a bunch of these off and chucked them in a pile, I'll have to check (we've cleaned out some old parts and took'em to the recycle yard) but if I knew what it was I might have it, your welcome to the part if I have it.

Wow, what luck, I am looking at an 89 chieftain 23 to buy. Same floor plan, so I appreciate the pictures. It is in good shape from what I have seen, but these pictures answer a lot of questions about where some things are.the one I am looking at already has the original Winnebago couch, in stead of the dinette that's would remove.
I like a lot about the way the chieftains were framed.

Also considering a 96 warrior 25 that would end up with this floor side by side bed and bath plan.

Thanks again for posting and please keep the picture coming.
