Well.Maybe not! We are going to San Manuel so We will be loosing the workshop. I can do my thing here but will need to find a place to do some welding. Nothing major. I am looking forward to moving down the road. May be our last trip! Don't know yet. I am thinking about giving it up! My back is kicking me but good! My right shoulder had rotater cuff surgery back in 1990. And i am also having issues with the right elbow too! Right arm feels numb or pain or both at the same time. Not fun!! Hang in there buddy, Dan

More progress towards Ole Yellar's V8 swap:

The donor van that I bought with a 350 in it is going to the crusher. We cut out the needed patch pannel and removed the TBI 350 and tranny by taking the sub frame off.

Sorry about the dark pics of the sub frame,engine/tranny.Will get better ones later this wk.

Alittle better pics of the sub frame-engine/tranny from the v8 Astro donor.

Taking the engine to a machine shop to have checked out.

The sub frame from the donor is going to have 3" spacers welded to it to give the body some lift for additional tire clearance, then sand blasted, then renewed with all moog parts and can at this point decide if it is getting painted or powder coated.

Well, yet another yr gone by and Baby is going to storeage inside this time.I am hoping to get the frame work/flashing for the skylight done over the winter and the skylight installed.I won't be able to seal the roof because of over night temps being too low.Life's trials again.Grrrrrr.
