Need Help vintage Covered Wagon

I recently bought a vintage Covered Wagon camper but the title has been long gone. I dont know the year or the model and was wondering if anyone might know. It is in remarkable shape, everything works great, has some great features like built in propane lights.

Looks great Andy. Hope you get a lot of enjoyment in it. You might want to check out Tin Can Tourist and there are several vintage traielr groups on Yahoo groups.

check the roof seams and the windows for leaks and keep ahead of the sealant repair.

VIN should be on the tongue and it may be a very short number.

No idea of the year but I'd venture to guess that the vin is on the tongue somewhere, covered over with paint.

My inlaws had a Fan trailer that looked a lot like that one and it was late 60's early 70'.

I'm betting there's a mfr. date somewhere inside that heater, and/or possibly on other components in the trailer. That would give you an idea, at least.

Try popping the stove cover- a date's often stenciled on the bottom.

Could actually be earlier than '60's- I think the clear birch interiors (like yours) were replaced by darker woods by then.

Also, that icebox is exactly the same as one in my 1954 Shasta, and the stove looks similar, too. Is that a "Princess" stove, by any chance?
