Hello everyone I'm new to these forums and I am Enjoying every minute I read Here .
I'm learning alot from many people here.

Let me start by telling you what I have for an RV.

I own a 1978 Palomino Pinto
I had got it for free.
I had just replaced the front and back Roof ends(the one's that the Marker lights are on)
I also took the old canvas out to get repaired and the company (Skyway Canvas) told me that They didn't want to repair it because they were afraid it would rip again.
So I have found a Business that was going out of Business that had all Kinds of Canvases very cheap.and in very good Shape.

Now my Question is,

Is there such thing as interchangeable canvases that may fit.

Oh and the canvas that I had found was like new and he wanted $400 for it...

I am very limited to what I can spend for now .
I was even thinking about trying to repair my old canvas ..

Also What type of needle and Thread do I need to Repair my Canvas(Just In Case the Canvas He Has doesn't Fit)

Any help would be appreciated.

First off, WELCOME. Now what is the canvas for? How much of it are you getting for 400 bucks? I mean if it's 800 dollars worth of canvas for 400 then yes that is a deal but not sure.

Oh and we like pictures...

Thank you for the Welcome..

The Canvas that goes around the Camper...It is a One Piece.

The One that the business has is a one piece also and yes its pretty much brand new for $400.....

i was even thinking on making him an Offer and see if I can get it Cheaper.
I also need to make sure that the Measurements match because he told me once I bought it there was no return.

I will try to get some pics, just need to find my camera.

If I can repair mine just to get At least a Year out of it that would even be better...

Most RV shops that carry parts have a kit with canvas patches, large needles, and glue. If the local shop does not have it, they can order it. Stagg and Coast (parts distrbutors) carry them.
