New '93 Pace Arrow

Just took her home last night. Found a few minor problems, e.g. power window not working, wiper fluid reservoir cracked, few broken plastic cabinet catches, rear camera system not working, neutral safety switch quirky, etc.

All major systems/appliances working fine, and otherwise in excellent condition for a 20yr old RV (and our first venture into Rv'ing).

Have a question for fellow Pace Arrow owners. In looking for a used RV, I encountered many with the dinette booth that converts to a bed. All had a folding leg and a multi-level hinge that lowers the table top to fit into notches.

I assumed that's how this was setup without actually trying it. Now I'm stumped.

The owner's manual describes the multi-level hinge as well. But my table seems to have a simple piano-hinge. The single wooden leg unscrews but I can't seem to figure out how the table top lowers.

Anyone with the same setup?

Thanks

It could be a previous owner had trouble with the hinge assembly, removed it and replaced it with the simple but non-moveable piano hinge.

Hmmm....could be a c-channel.
There's a wood screw jammed in at one end at 45 degree angle. Are there supposed to be some sort of clips on each end and the table top slides out?

Can you swing the front of the table up towards the ceiling then lift it out?

Yep. . . . That did it. C- channel setup. Thanks. Think I've made it up the learning curve on all the systems and features on the old rv.
