OP, keep in mind that asking price and actual selling price are still about 30% apart. It's been my experience that holds true on used RVs too.

Thanks for all your help. The links helped alot. Now I can see what the darn thing looks like. Ive been looking at some local rv's and I think I will more that likely buy one closer to home unless he can make it worth a trip to California. I guess we will continue to tent camp.
