New kitchen sink

I am replacing my kitchen counter and sink. I am installing corian with a drop in sink. My question is do I need a double sink? I have limited space and a single would give me more counter-space. Has anyone done this?

We have a double sink with limited counter space. The counter top is corian and each sink has a separate cover that you can put over one or both sinks. We sometimes leave the cover over one of the sinks to have more counter space. We also have a under counter 3 burner stove that also have covers on them. We usually leave all the covers on while traveling and only take the covers off the areas we want to use, normally 1 sink.

You may consider doing any or all of these options.

Good Luck

My goal is to gain counter space without causing problems washing dishes. I have covers for everything and I still want to get rid of the double sink. The new counter is happening no matter what. I am going to mount the stove a little lower so that the cover will be flush with the rest of the counter. I saw this in in another post.
