Smile New Member from Asheboro, NC need help

Hi Guys......

Just bought a 1990 Fleetwood Terry Resort....24 ft.

I don't have an owners manual and was wondering.....how do I hook up to cable at a campsite. It has a coaxial outlet on the inside, but where do I hookup on the outside?

Sorry for the ignorance, but this is our first.....

Thanks,
Kim

There should be a male connector somewhere on the outside. Maybe low behind the rear bumper. That's where it was on a travel trailer I had years ago.

Kim,
Welcome to the forum, if there is a cable hookup, it should show you where in the manual(oops, I just reread and you don't have a manual). If not, then it could be anywhere, usually it would be somewhere around where the electric cord is, unless someone added one, then it could be anywhere. Sorry that I can't help you anymore than that. It should be somewhere on the street side of the unit though.
Frank

I have a 95 Brave, mine is inside the compartment where the electrical/genset cable is at, its at the top of the compartment, you have to look for it

Welcome aboard. I have an '84 FW Prowler 19', which is the smaller brother to your Terry.

Are you talking about the coaxial cable in the interior, that goes to the roof antenna and are wondering if there's an exterior hookup for receiving cable/satellite TV feeds?

If so, your Terry might be a year/model that it hadn't been installed yet from factory for exterior hookups.

The ones on my HR are under outdoor covers just like the external 115v receptacles on the left rear area of the coach above the water and shore power cord connections. Likely your cable receptacles are near other trace areas so as to have one entry point into the coach with a bundle. You can always try reverse tracing from the coax inside at the tv set. On a 1990 anything/everything could have been changed from the factory configuration, so even if you have the owner's manual it may be useless. As others have said, the most likely place for the hookup is near the electric shore power and city water connections.
