New owner of a Vintage Trailer:

Just purchased in Illinois and brought home to Texas a 1984 30P Avion Trailer. It is usable but a lot of things we want to do to make it ours. The trip was a learning curve as it has been a long time since I had pulled a bumper pull. The tow vehicle is a 2013 F 150 ecoboost, heavy duty & trailer package. Husky equalizer hitch, which I still need to fine tune, but felt comfortable at 60/65 mph on the Interstate. Gas mileage was more than twice what we averaged on a 32 Class A, with a gas V 10. Any recommendations for changes, improvements or things that others have done will be appreciated. I am a Happy Camper gps
