New Revcon owner.

Ill be starting gofundme page soon to cover my expenses. Just kidding. Maybe. I know theres one or two other Revcon owners that browse this forum so Im hoping to start some networking with other owners as all the Revcon resources seem to be drying up. I have a full set of manuals as well as a Revcon step by step illustrated book on how they were built with pictures. Ive never seen this book anywhere on the web. Please PM me or post here so we can chat. Also if any of you are in the Yahoo group please ask whoever is in charge of admitting new members to allow schneides33 into the group. hope to hear from ya.
Isaac

Ya Ive seen his build thread somewhere. Took the engine out through the side door. I am really surprised there are not more Revcon owners around considering they are typically in better shape body wise than most others of the same vintage. The coaches not the owners that is.

Present and accounted for.

Oddly haven't been on the RV forums much lately. Just the sailing ones. Haven't given the RV much attention this year, so its not on my mind. Just tried to replace the steering gear box. I say tried because the one I ordered had the wrong input shaft, even though it was the correct reverse rotation. The boxes are getting more rare. Some of the shops will only rebuild your existing, as opposed to being able to purchase outright. No other crazy projects pending. I have to think I'm done modifying. Can't think of anything I want to do different. That and have driven this for 14 years, I've gotten pretty used to it, blemishes included.

I got a Redhead steering box and they custom built it for my 78 4x4 van. Ive been wondering about the box in this rig because I have a lot of slop in the steering. Was this for your second gen Revcon or your 73? It would be nice to have a part number for the steering box before I send it in.
