Newbie to Class A motorhome.

Purchased a 1992 Coachman Royal 360RD a couple of weeks ago and am still going through it trying to figure out what does what. Owners manual is very vague on most stuff. Does any one out there have any experience with this particular model MH? If so, please let me know as I have several questions. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

Don't have that model but welcome to the site and class A travel. Ours was short on manuals also so I found some on this site and got.the rest from the sites of the component manufacturers (generator, fridge, etc.). Found out a whole lot by just crawling around underneath and poking around inside.
Happy travels

Thank you so much for the welcome, I'm already sore from crawling around the compartments and going up and down the steps. I'll check out some of the manufacture sites for manuals & info. Again, thanks

There's a few of us with a lot of time messing with these things. Many time somebody can come up with an answer that will surprise you! Not always possible regarding "what is this switch for" or "where is my fuse panel". What you might find is much of this stuff is pretty generic. Point is, don't stress if you can't find an answer. Post it and see what happens.

I noticed on the drive home from the dealer, the cruise control did not want to set, anyone have any ideas what may be causing this. Thank you in advance for any help.

Varies by cruise manf and model, but many are grounded through the stop light circuit. If there's an issue there, CC thinks the brakes are on, has no ground.

Others have a switch mounted on or near the brake pedal linkage. That could be out of adjustment.

There's also the ones where the linkage has fallen apart near the carb/throttle body?

While all that may be true, my MH (1993) Cruise control Brain was bad and the MFG was no longer in business. I found a complete new/ retrofit unit, had it professionally installed, it work great I have only driven it home (approx. 40 miles from install) I am very pleased
