Hello Yall...Mu hubby and I are looking to buy a used motorhome...We have never owned one before...Today we went and looked at one for sale...

'89 Mallard 32' Class A, 460 Ford w/Banks Power Pack (I thought Banks Power was something fairly new...but the seller said it came factory installed)....Has Onan Gen........New AC....electric step....The tires are Michellin's in good shape...The inside is in nice condition....They're asking $15,995....but we couldn't find it in the NADA book (online)....so we don't know if that is a good deal or not...I would like your opinion's on this....(as many as possible...I don't ask for much) Lol!!

Hugs, Blanche

There is a 1990 Mallard listed. I'd use that as a guide. I'd say just off hand, that $16K is a bit much for an 17 year old motorhome. Just my gut feel. Won't hurt to offer less. But do spend the money to have a professional check the coach over.

Try your local DMV. They might have the information.

I think that is a bit much for that Duck. To get a real feel as to what motor homes realy bring for a price check E Bay and look at what is being bid. I have a nice 34 foot Southwind that I have had on the market all summer and can't get $11k for it.

1990 Foretravel Grand Villa Detroit Diesel powered and push by a car trailer with an Explorer on it.
