Old Motorhome information?
I have a friend who recently acquired an old motorhome. We can't figure out who built it? It's on a Spartan chassis, Caterpillar diesel, 4 speed Allison, looks like an old Gulf Stream, Bounder, or Corba maybe. On the front left and right side, it says Studio 1, but a previous owner may have painted that on the coach. No manufacturer information came with it. I've looked in all the closets for information, next to the shift lever is an Allison tag and Spartan tag. Anyone have an idea of who the manufacturer is?
Thanks

I think that was a Safari product which was SMC Corp bought out by Monaco bought out by RVA which now produces Monaco, FLEETWOOD, Holliday Rambler and others.

Clarification, it's REV Group (formerly Allied Specialty Vehicles) who now produces those lines.

I don't know what model of a Safari it would be. I think most early Safari's had metal side walls & roof. I also think Safari started building RV'S in the early 90's I had thought this might be older than that, but maybe not.

The motorhome in question doesn't appear to be a Safari product. Early and Mid-90 Safari's had Aluminum sidewalls and wide stainless steel trim around the bottom. Also, the cargo doors were a more integrated style. Regardless, the mystery motorhome looks like a nice RV and in good condition.
