Oldie but Goodie?

New to forum and picking up new (to me) 1984 RVC Caravelle Class C this weekend. It's excellent shape with 33k miles. I can find nothing of this brand besides they were made from 82-86. Anyone own or had one?

I don't think you'll find a manual for your RV, but if you write down each system and appliance maker and model, you can probably find a manual for each one. The chassis probably also has a repair manual available. That will give you some help when searching for parts.

Thanks for the replies. I should have mentioned it is on the Chevy G-30 platform, so at least it should have common parts to that. I currently have an 07 McKenzie 33SKQ fiver, but wanted the C to have fun and be able to work on it. Plus, the older I get, the more I appreciate the classics...carbs, distributors, no computer, etc. Will definitely post pics once its home and washed.

I think you'll find that all the information you really need is available even if there's nothing specific from the "house" manufacturer There will be virtually no system or appliance on your rig that isn't common to many other manufacturers, so the manuals are out there (just google) and there should be tons of info on your chassis and engine.

The info you think you REALLY would like to know, like where the wiring runs or how the plumbing is situated either wouldn't be available even if you had the original literature or they changed things around when they were actually building your unit (or things were modified by a later owner- the dreaded Previous Owner Syndrome!) so nothing would look the same anyway.
