Onan Emerald 1 BGE Questions

Good news:. Got the generator running! She fired right up after cleaning the carb and with a little adjusting she runs like a champ.

Bad news:. No power to the RV. I assume because it's running it is generating power. I read somewhere they won't run of not generating power (correct me if this assumption is wrong). I will start diagnosing this tomorrow so any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

A question I have is would there be any reason not to remotely mount the fuel pump? It's mounted to the side normally and very hard to install and reach. I have plenty of room in the Genny box and was thinking of mounting it to the side of the enclosure. I don't see any reason why this wouldn't be fine but I thought I would check. We don't have dash A/C so the plan is to run the generator while on the road to cool the motorhome. I have bought spare parts including a fuel pump for issues on the road. Mounted to the generator this is a 1 hour plus job to replace a fuel pump. If I mount it to the wall it's about a 10 minute job to replace it.

False alarm on the ATS. Turns out I should research more. This is a Todd Engineering PS250 and it looks to be quite a bit newer than the RV. I fired up the Genny then checked voltage at the generator and saw 120 so I went to check at the transfer switch about the time I got there it clicked over. I did some research and turns out it's a 3 minute time delay to protect the generator.
