Onan Marquis 5000 1997 Southwind 32V

My generator is not getting fuel to the carb. We have turned it over with the fuel line from the filter in an empty container and no fuel comes out. I read one VERY OLD thread that suggested that the fuel pump could be changed on the generator itself. Can anyone clue me in as to the location of the fuel pump for this Onan Marquis 5000 watt genset on my 97 Southwind 32V

Thanks much, I will keep looking

Had that generator in a Holiday Rambler. Facing the generator fuel pump was at left rear corner almost hidden behind generator.

Look for a fuel pump after the filter. On most, the filter is on the line from the tank, Before the pump. Keeps the junk out of the pump.

Thanks to both of you. We thought that we might have to pull the tank to get to the generator fuel pump. I will pull the top and side covers off the generator today and search for the fuel pump. Thanks Much,

Magnafique

Hopefully the correct picture. From my installation manual for the 5000 on a 1996 Bounder.

Thanks much Terry. I am going to pull the cover off of the generator tomorrow, not an easy job and look for the fuel pump. Got a new one for it. Got new brakes on the MH at all for wheels, disc brakes. Getting closer to driving it over to DMV to get it registered and titled. :-) Tom
