Our 2000 Monaco Diplomat
We purchased the coach in 2011 from original owner. It had 56,000 miles on odometer and now has 103,000. Has been all over the west including British Columbia, Yukon Territory and Alaska. Still running original Norcold 1200 and it still keeps ice cream frozen. Two repair items replaced PAC brake, lift pump. Had to replace rear passenger ride height valve three times. Finally found the valve I was buying from Fleet Pride were Chinese knock offs of OEM. Have not had a ride height issue since replacing with US made OEM valve. ISC 315 gets 8.5 mpg. Change oil and filters every 5K and replaced Allison with Shell Cummins approved synthetic at 60K. Decals and 3M film are badly checked, but with the great attention by members of location where I store coach it presents well. Love not having all the circuit boards to fail. Rack and pinion system on living room slide has broken the bolts connecting drive shaft connecting pinions a few times, always a field fix with easy access thru bay compartments. Viva Le Monaco.
