It should be encoded in the vin# . If you have the 8.1 liter engine , it would be a workhorse chassis. P30 would be used up to the late 90's.
The front track width on a P30 is around 70" and the workhorse is around 83".

Our former coach (Thor/Four Winds Infinity 34-H) was a '99 year model based on the P-30 chassis, 454 and GM trans.
Way too much coach/weight for the engine/transmission & chassis.. After 4 years had to replace the coil front and leaf rear springs.then peddled the coach when we found a sucker with $$.

The 5th, 6th & 7th character positions of the vin will tell you. If it is P37 or P32 then you have a P30 chassis.

Says P37. Thanks for your help. Now, is that good or bad? I know the 454 is bullit proof.

The P37 means you have a P30 motorhome chassis. Some of the parts on the chassis are different from a standard P30 chassis. It's not the best chassis , but is ok for motorhomes less than 30'. Your chassis should have a 454 with a carb and distributor. You should also have a TH400 3 speed transmission or possibly a 4speed 700R4.
