Unless you camp at rv resorts, you probably wont have an issue. The nicest place we stayed at, had a 10 year rule. Older than that they reserved the right to inspect it. We saw lots of older units there, but they were all in pretty decent shape. A few had faded paint.

I got a quote from a place in Tampa, FL, to paint our 1988 Tiffin a solid color. They said $25,000. I said screw that.

Have a 1982 Pace Arrow and have been asked for pictures and haven't been turned down yet going on 7 years.
If they deny you go on down the road to the next camp ground.

Got to visit Navarro's a few years ago. At that time there was only one RV being worked on. He had a few guys pealing off the old stickers and sanding down the old paint. The people that owned the RV said they were impressed by what they were doing. Navarro even let them stay in there RV while the work was being done. Everything was taken off the RV, like mirrors, bright work and everything on top. Don't know why. Could be they were redoing the roof. Looked good to me.

I'm freinds with a guy that's been doing vehicle wraps since they fist started doing vehicle wraps. He was one of the first.

The friendly price to wrap my 28' Class C was 5 grand.

I've seen him do boats, trailers, work vans, etc... it's quite a skill.

He's using 3M material, that stuff wears like a tank.

I really like when it goes over windows and you can still see out through the design.

I may just do it if we decide to keep our RV much longer but I can't decide on what kind of graphics I would like.

10 Year Rule

Just to update my last post. I have been turned away in Auburn, Ca at Gold Country RV, (not an RV resort) After making a reservation for one month, I went to register and was asked the year. When I replied 1997 Monaco Dynasty, he replied sorry you cannot stay here, to which I replied i’ll Show a picture it is in very good shape. He said it did not matter what shape it’s in, if it’s over 15 years old you cannot stay period.
I ended up going to Cal Expo RV in Sacramento, they required a picture and copy of my registration.
So for those of you who have not had any problems, be aware that there are some RV Parks in CA that are not Classic RV friendly.

One of our members over at foreforums.com by the name of barndog is about to have his coach wrapped. He had some engine issues and that is being fixed now. Then it is off to the wrap shop.
