Love it. Especially traveling long distance. Review at night, call in the morn, make reservation for next nite. Half price! Only one I would not stay again. Had I googled, I would not stayed there. On one night stops its invaluable. Some have ended up staying a week.

I tried it, but it was not for us. We like very nice, expensive
campgrounds with all the comforts and amenities.

We use it a lot - A lot of campgrounds / RV parks have restrictions on when and how the discounts can be used, so read carefully.

Hard to beat PA. Use it a couple three times a year and it's paid for itself. Good web site for finding participating CG. If you are outside whatever restrictions the CG has published, ask for the PA rate anyway. I find they may likely say yes - as some money is better than no money.

We like it so much that we paid up for 5 years and got a 6th free. These are small fees and add hundreds of places to camp to our "menu".

Joining the Elks and buying Passport America are the two best moves I made for reducing camping fees.

As others have said, "we use it a lot and love it". Our two favorite local locations in the west are Pechanga RV Resort ($25. with restrictions) and Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort ($25. with restrictions). Just need to check the CG for their restrictions. Use is extensively during our annual 5-week summer vacation (DW is an educator).

We have used it in the past, and it pays for itself quickly. About the only downside is when there isn't a participating site anywhere our travel route.

I bought into their Lifetime membership years ago.
I just checked my 2017 summer trip and Passport America will save me $126.40 on it.

I have saved some summers over $200 + depending where I was traveling too.

We travel between 7-8 months per year. As others have said, it pays for itself. Once we've planned the route, I look for PA campgrounds on the PA campgrounds site. As also indicated check the PA campground info to find out limitations (length of stay, seasons, etc).

But I always check any of the campgrounds we use with other sites - primarily with RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks. Just want to check what fellow vagabonds thought. As indicated, PA campgrounds run the spectrum from great to not so good.

Without any reservation, the fee pays for itself.
