I've been at the full-time RV-ing thing now three months and I love it. Over the last 90 days I have been working on my 1980 Pace Arrow (http://www.irv2.com/forums/f65/my-ne...les-96984.html) getting its systems operational and making it a more comfortable place to live.
I felt that the time was right to share some photos. These were taken with my Android 3.2MP camera phone. When I have more time I'll break out the Nikon D200 and get some more detailed photos.
I still haven't figured out if the front and rear A/C units can be switched to run one at a time. Currently my front unit works on shore power and my rear unit works only on the generator. I realize that both can't rin on shore power at the same time -- mine is a 30-amp coach -- but I can't believe that there's no way to switch shore power from one unit (front) to the other. Others with Pace Arrows (and similar late seventies to late eighties Fleetwoods), can you tell me if there's a secret switch somewhere that I haven't been able to locate?

The one thing I've learned is that with the limited amount of space available, it's really necessary to keep things in their place. I live alone -- with my Golden Retriever -- and having never RV-ed before, find it hard to believe that even a married couple can full time in something like this.
The $20, 23-inch wide wire rack from Target that fit perfectly between the chairs in the "living room" under the 26-inch TV, goes a long way towards keep things organized. I'm thinking of moving the computer and printer to the bottom shelf and using the 26-inch flat panel as a computer monitor with a wireless mouse and keyboard. I figure that the 26-inch monitor is big enough so that I can sit on the couch opposite and view the monitor. I could also hook up my MagicJack to it -- keeping it on all the time -- giving me another phone line (using my Android as a WiFi hotspot as my broadband access).

Our 89 Southwind has the front/rear AC switch located in the upper cupboard just behind the driver's seat. Have you found an unmarked switch anywhere- it could even look like a regular light switch?

Cool rig didn't read all post but did u get generator to run yet? When I bought my 83 P A , previous owner said it wouoldn't run...I had it going in 5 minutes when I got home. I just drain some fuel out. I believe there was a set screw to drain some gas...then I granked it over and it wouldn't fire...so I manually held the choke fully closed while I cranked it...fired right up. I still have to hold the chock the odd time for starting it in the winter....
