We just bought a '78 Champion Motorhome and are in the Portland, OR area. The previous owner has maintained this rig very well and made numerous improvements to it.

Now we are faced with the world of RV parks age restrictions. So far we have been unsuccessful in finding a month-to-month rental space for this RV, even though every park we go has numerous rigs 20-30 years old which we are always told have been "grandfathered" in.

Does anyone know of any RV park in the Portland area where we would not be wasting our time in seeking a month-to-month rental for our MH? If not, how about anywhere in Washington, Oregon or California? Thanks.

Try Island Cove RV Park on Sauvie Island just outside of Portland, if the unit is in good shape, clean, restored, fresh paint, etc... you should be able to get a spot, but call and talk to the manager first and possibly email him pictures.

The closer together front sites are $350 a month + electric @ $0.14/kwh, back loop sites if one is available are $400 + $0.14 kwh.
