It works just fine. Don't depend on the the steering lock to hold it straight; you need to secure the steering with the seat belt, just as the tow truck drivers do. But, since it's rear-wheel drive, it takes about 5 minutes to get it off the tow dolly so that we can go and run around in some new town.
I've actually sold this car and replaced it with a 1926 Model T Tudor Sedan. This one, while old (it was started in Tex Smith's shop in Los Angeles some time around 1970), was mostly replica parts. The Tudor is an original body and frame, although with heavy modifications.

How do you
Make a picture that I am trying to up load and it comes back with this (exceeds filesize limit) or because it is in a zipped file it won't take that either. How do you make a Picture smaller and how do I get Pictures in a zipped file out of it and post here???
Tim

Maybe
I figured it out. Here is our set up. 1982 Pace Arrow 454 Gasser 49,000 miles with a 1999 deVille concours 185,000 miles (before using as a toad) on a 2010-11 KARKADDY SS. PA is pretty much original inside and out.
Merry Christmas,
Tim

1989 Holiday Rambler Aluma Lite XL
Here are all my pics of the remodel:
On Shore
I have been working on fixing things... - Wiped every surface with clorox wipes, tilex and steam cleaned every piece of fabric... from stem to stern... smells much better!
- Fixed water heater... replace computer and igniter.
- Traced wires to fog lights, seat air compressor, radio, cb, and rewired.
- changed out most of the compartment lockers with thumb locks rather than key locks... and the two i wanted locked got combination locks.
- Went on the roof and sealed every seam with 3M 5200 Marine sealant.
- Took it to a heavy duty truck shop and had the engine checked out... everything was good.
- Took it to a generator shop and it was also good to go.
- Replaced the Battery Assist switch from momentary to an on/off switch, so when the RV is plugged in next to the house that the on board charger also charges the engine battery.
- Put in a 22" HD TV and Blue Ray player to replace the old TV.
- Replaced every ballast in the florescent lights.
- Replace floor carpeting and kitchen flooring
- Repair bathroom floor (water damage)
- (Wife) redesign interior color and look... more beach/crab theme.
- Stock kitchen, pantry and closets with everything for living in it.
- Installed a wired backup camera
- Replaced outside TV antenna with motorized raise/lower unit.
- Replaced step motor (still funny it was a wiper motor, advance auto)
- Added tire valve extenders.
- Blue ox tow bar and base for my Jeep (ebay)
Things still to do... - Replace the headlight units... some research i did told me they are Ford Escort headlight combo units from 1989.
- Replace the Fridge (electic only and old) with a combo gas/electic/12v)
- Fix the cruise control
- Paint outside with a new design... probably a professional.
- New Shocks (I heard Koni are good)
- Shower door (replace curtain)

What a project! You'll have to post some "after" pics too.
You're the only one I've ever heard of replacing a residential fridge with a "conventional" RV fridge. Most are going the other way. Just curious - why?

Nice I really like the outside design of the mh. Could use some inside pictures though.

I will be posting "after" pics soon as I just finished up the inside.
I am going with an RV fridge so I have more options while traveling, I don't like running the generator the whole time I am traveling just to keep the fridge running.

I rarely run the generator while traveling, and certainly never for the fridge.
Rigs that come with a residential fridge generally come with additional house batteries, and many times a fridge dedicated inverter. While traveling the alternator provides more than enough to keep the fridge running and I've gone as much as three days "parked" with no shore power and no generator use, no problem.
With all the concern over RV fridge fires these days, I'd guess most would argue in favor of you keeping the residential fridge, maybe updating it to a newer (more efficient) model. Of course if you will be off the grid, or boondocking most of the time...

Fridge
It looks like the original fridge was Propane (tube is still there) and Electric.
I will have to look into the inverter idea...
Yikes, what is the concern about Fridge fires? I have not heard of this...
thanks!
