New Here - 1984 Winnebago Elandan

This looks like a good place to start - posting a photo of the '84 Elandan we just acquired last week. So far it's been about cleaning and organizing - this week's project is to sort out an engine issue - hopefully not major - next weekend out for the shakedown!

Hey Peter,

Welcome.

That is one clean 84 model you got there.

Looks like it was well taken care of.

Had it been restored by former owner?

Enjoy and let us know how it does on your first adventure.

She hasn't been neglected...but she sure needed cleaning - about a weeks worth! They did think enough fr her to install new tires and 3 way NorCold Refrigerator.
While we'd like a 34, at 32 this one fits in our driveway :~)
Anyway - I'm about to delve into the mechanical side of things this afternoon - wish me luck!

About all I can tell you about this coach is that it is a Dodge.

Found while going thru a storage facility today.

Been sitting there for some time now.

Sorry for the cruddy photos but all I had was my iphone.

Sadly it looks like it"s been or is about to be pronounced. Just the same bet some family had some great times Rv-ing in that long before RV-ing was cool.

The storage facility is just down the road from us and when we where there yesterday the property owner had to leave but he said that there was a story behind "Mr. Blue" so I will check to see what is all about.

Maybe it was driven by the Blues Brothers!!

Early Travco.
If it's not salvageable the parts are needed by others - especially the glass

Ran across this guy in Dawson BC. Tried to talk to him but all I could get out was "I'm going south". The inside of the truck looked like it had just rolled off the line.
