1991 Alumi-lite

New to iRV2, just found this vintage thread. Here is a picture of our old gal. We just crossed the boarder into Alaska from the Yukon. All the mud still on the side of her, but she did just fine and 1 year later is still running good.

If there is not picture, then I just do not know how to post on IRV2 - sorry.

I just do not know how to post pictures, i am using Piscasso.

Any idea what city that was?

If you look really close, I believe it has a dolly wheel under the tongue.

You did it!!

She is a nice looking rig! When I look at the 'seasoned' rigs, I am amazed at how much RV's have changed from then to now.

But I guess, in dog years, it's been a hundred years........... LOL!!

Sorry for the cruddy photos but all I had was my iphone.
Today, I was southbound I75 just outside of Dalton Georgia there was a north bound white one just like this one.

Looked to be in pretty good shape but I only got to see it for a few seconds.

Wow, Tigger, that look REALLY nice!!! Bet it did not look much better when it rolled off the production line, well done!

Question; I noticed that you had the awning on the 'off' side of the rig. Do you also have one on the door side? If so, why two or why only one on that side?

If it is used in the UK, they do not drive on the right side of the road. Since it is not the "RIGHT" side, it must be the wrong side.

TIGGER, Nice, real nice.

I used to drive a 1969 Ford Van. Brings back good memories of my teen years.

You have a great classic there.

1976 GMC EdgeMonte

This GMC came my way yesterday...for the moment it's the auxilliary backup for the Elandan. I've always liked the GMC's and it's floorplan is actually nicer than the Winnie.
It has needs but runs and drives.

Wow!
What a time capsule!

Is it an import or a U.K. product?

Our new (to us) 1979 Chevy Midas 2000

My wife & I are new to Rving, so go easy on us! We just inherited this 1979 Chevy Midas 2000. Were super happy! but first were going to do a few upgrades and renovating. Needs a new hot water tank and I want to replace the countertop as it is warped. But overall its in great condition for a 31 year old!
