Saw this

Months ago we saw this combo roll into the campground. Haven't figured out how to orient photos yet.

1985 Pace Arrow

The wife and I bought an 85 Pace Arrow recently. We go to a few motorcycle rallies during the summer and we were tired of tent camping. We didn't have much of a budget nor did we want anything real nice to take to motorcycle rallies. hahaha. We just needed something that would get us there and back, with a generator, air and a soft bed. As well as something that could haul the bike or pull a trailer. Found this beast on Craigslist and bought it for $1800. It needs plenty of work before we head for any distance but we've taken the kids out a couple times to a nearby campground and they LOVE it. The next rally isn't until June so we have some time to get some leaks stopped, engine tuned up and steering tightened up. It's going to be an adventure.

The motorhome is a Safari Trek, probably one of the early Isuzu-based models, and the car is a Model A.

Hello and welcome,
Just a FYI for ya, I bought a 82 PA and it was covered with BLK Mold went too HD and bought a bottle Mold Armor House Cleaner attaches to a garden hose. it took off all the Blk Mold in minutes. Works best with a pressure washer but did a wonderful job.

Wow... what a transformation! I am a traditionalist and like to keep our Mh and vintage cars as original as possible. However having said that I love to see the originality of others. I have one question.... what do you do with all of your decorations while traveling? Or are you a seasonal camper?

Kim

Our vintage 83 HR Aluma lite 30'

Well, this is my first attempt at posting pics...hope it works!
We are the second owners of this rv, will be taking our maiden overnighter this weekend...dry camping. 61k, drives great, all appliances work (haven't tried water heater yet. Will post interior pictures if this post works. Thanks for looking, and please feel free to give us any advice, tips, etc.
(also if anyone has a source for manuals, please let me know. I called the manufacturer last week and they just laughed at me)

83 HR Aluma lite interior

Well, it looks like that worked, so here are some pics of the interior. The po already installed laminate flooring, but almost everything else is original (except radio). Found a small drip during rain from front overhead AC, but have ordered new gaskets and eternabond kit to take care of all that. We plan to paint all the paneling white or other light colors, make all new curtains and recover the cushions. Thanks for looking and be sure to share any advice or your experiences with old HR's.
