Hi,
Just joined today.
Here is a pic of our 1984 Bluebird Wanderlodge that we have fulltimed in since 2003.
We upgrade stuff each year so don't have a breakdown problem.
Any other bird owners here?
Yes sir..had an 84 and now have a 95. Go check out Wanderlodge Owners Group - tons of owners and a real good support network.
we just bought a beat up 92 Itasca 34 ft diesal pusher from fellow that inherited it from his father,a traveling preacher. has 155,000 kms. interior very nice..exterior is not, he was in his 80s when last used it and ran into numerous things. trees,mainly and his own pickup truck. so the wifes plan is to travel to Newfoundland when were both 65 and collecting the BIG BUCKs from Our pension !. so i have 3 yrs to fix it up.

Ken;
Check out the thread "total rebuild" on this forum. It is an interesting thread and contains some how to videos that may help. Also a fellow doing some fiber glassing.
Good luck with your repairs.

My first Class A - 1985 HR Aluma Lite. man was I in high heaven! 3 kids and a rabbit all fit on that mauve carpeted engine cover in the front. Toad was a 1984 Bronco II.
I have only owned the Coach a couple months. I am really enjoying it. I looked at a lot of newer ones but thought this was the best fit for me. I am amazed at the how nice it was made 27 years ago. Everything is original and seems to be in great shape. I hope to have many years of service from it and learning lots along the way.
My 94 Southwind Storm 28ft P-30 chassis w/454. Purchased it with 44,XXX miles, new roof, Banks header system. Wife and I spent a week or so doing deep cleaning on everything interior and exterior. Looks as good as new now.
Just returned from a trip 600+ mile trip and averaged 9.3 - 9.9 mpg (US) no towing.

Hey Bootjack that is one fine coach! It has some real style outside and inside, especially the Jacuzzi tub. That is so cool. It has real elegance and is laid out in a way I just might not miss my slides.
What engine etc is it equipped with? More pics if you have 'em, like to see the front too, cockpit etc! Thanks for posting.
Best regards,
W.D.
