Our new Winnie

Ok, I'm brand new to your site so if this doesn't work right away please bear with me.

Wife and I bought a '83 30' Winnie from a friend for a real good price. Flew to Idaho with the dog and drove it home here to NW Washington. What a great ride. We've got a couple small trips planned at the end of the month and are already planning our summer.

This rig only has about 56k miles on her. I didn't really look at it as a vintage, but I guess so.

Funny but true. Last name is Ball. Didn't take long for us to be called the Grisball's. We're thinking that would make a great license tag

OK, the real test. Pics

Well, not embedded but they're there. Nice forum folks. Already downloaded the iPhone app. Thanks

Welcome Kball!!!!

Love your rig! I am partial to the 'seasoned' rigs myself! Good Luck with her and keep us up to date on your adventures with her!

I am in SW Washington and can give you some great sites to take your rig to.

Sheila

Thanks folks. And that 73 Indian is a nice rig. Very clean. I can see a lot of work went into it.

Sheila, I just might take you up on that. Wife and I were talking about hitting the coast soon. I like Ocean Shores but want to get a bit farther south. My brother is near Portland but he's not an RV'r. Not yet anyways...

Looks great Frank,
I did a 2500 mile round trip the day after I bought mine. It was 12 years old so no way of telling if you're going to have any problems until they happen. I was lucky and only an idler pulley went bad.
Did you have any trouble?
