Talking 1967 Forester pictures

I am keeping a blog and more pictures inside and out along with restore project updates are there.

Forester fix up

Feel free to stop by. Just like while in the camper, it's fun to have visitors.

Andy,
You have to use a third party host like photobucket. I don't think you can post jpg directly to the forum. Anyone else???

In the link provided by foresterfun, Forums 101, post# 7 shows how to upload a jpg file. It needs to be reduced in size to about 100k to work, or it can be on a remote server location so it can be used with any size photo.

Hi Curtis!
Have a question about the Kwikee step in your Limited as mine is giving me some problems and due to the faat that we have the same RV, maybe you can help me here. Could you tell me the wiring color/location on the power step switch on the entry to the coash? The rocker switch should have a red lens with a little light that comes on in it when the switch is in the on position. Looking at the switch face on, my wiring on the back of that rocker is Red on the top lug, red/white on the middle lug and white on the bottom lug. I think it is supposed to be white on the middle lug and red/white on the bottom lug. Could you possibly check yours and tell me how it is wired, assuming that yours works as it was intended?
Many thanks,
Big Dan

Shure thing Dan. I'm suppose you are talking about the switch next to the door and not the one on the dash?

I'll get out there today, pull the switch plate by the door and take some pictures of it for you. If you want a shot of the dash switch I can do that too as I have the dash loose at the moment. My old stereo died and I'm shopping for a new one.

I'll E Mail the pictures to you so you can have shots of both switches.

Curtis

Many thanks Curtis!
This site is a Godsend for me at times like this. Sure appreciate your doing this, saves me a lot of frustration and maybe a new control box in miswiring the new switch. Have a great new year, I look forward to the pics.

Just a quick thought!! Do you know where Quartzsite, Arizona is? They have a huge swap meet there every January/February. I manage to attend what they call the "Main Event" for a few days and there are as many as a million others there doing the same thing. Quartzsite is just about 20 into Arizona from the California border on Interstate 10. I usually drive Big Dan down there towing my little Mercury Mystique. I always have my Tailgator along and mix up some pretty good margaritas and pina coladas every evening. If you are out and about, stop by. I normally stay at the Desert Gold RV park in Brenda, about 13 miles east of Quartzsite. Be nice to meet you in person. Just a thought.

This site needs more class B love hehe. Here's pics of my newly purchased (and first rv/ camper)1987 Ford e250 v8 5.8L Starcraft conversion. It has a little over 42,000 miles and a strong engine, however, it's got some moderate issues (the fuel gauge and temp gauges aren't functioning and a little rust) I'm still learning the ins and outs since there are no manuals with it. The interior is all original with the exception of an after-market CD player installed by the previous owner.

I'm in the process of cleaning the cushions so they are absent in the pics.

Goreds2 - I saw pictures of your B earlier in this thread. A small part of me is jealous of your extra footage in the back but then I remember that I'm having a hard enough time with backing my little B up.
