This thread is awsome. I just spent the last evening or two slowly scrolling through it!!

Anyway, heres a few shots of our "new to us" rig. Previously owned by my parents, now passed over to my wife and I. We're currently restoring it and getting it ready for road next year with plans on touring the West of Ireland in it.

Some shots taken 15 plus years ago....

A couple of more recent photos, taken before the refurb began...

The original doors are trashed, so I got a good price on a pair of replacements to bolt right on... I've got a whole bunch of other panel replacement and fabrication to do on the rest of the cab before paint though...

my winter project.

The rest of the rig is in pretty good shape. Everything works and all it needs is a good cleaning...
I recently got the engine running and now I'm working on the brakes which I'm hoping to have bled and operational this coming weekend... Making steady progress on it so far!!

im already having the leak issues all the way around, you know the front cap and almost all the windows. had an accident yesterday with a chain link fence i think the fence won do you know where to get a rear bumper for the old 89??? ill post pics later

We picked up an old 77 19 footer a few months ago and so far i have fixed alot of stuff but have a long way to go and the good thing is all appliances work and although i have been working on it i can still use it for getting away camping

How it looked when i went to look at it...

How it looks "so far" at this point...

we have had it on 2 trips so far and all wnet really well (after all the work so far)

been "touch up" painting it where i work on the dents and stuff, plan to do a full paint job later on with a gun, still have a bunch of hail dents above the windows to do.

going to get her out camping again pretty soon and trying to get it looking decent.

See roller jobs before, and they work to a point... but, that 'bondo/galvanize' patch work has gotta go..

gonna roll the roof stuff on but spray the sides, spraying with a gun to me is easier than spray bombs or rolling but i have a ways to go with body work and one corner structural wood repair then i can paint it, probably next summer

I just couldn't wait for my Tradewinds to become Vintage and needed a less expensive way to get to the fishin hole. This little Pop Up is gonna be perfect for the guy and his dog fishing trips and the fuel to get there won't prohibit those short two or three day trips.
It's a 1977 Palomino (I think Pinto) I'll know for sure tomorrow when I pick it up.
