Craigslist, via Searchtempest.com, and eBay. And you have to be willing to do some traveling, as the chances of finding that one special rig in your back yard are slim to none. I saw the ad on craigslist for our Starcraft Starcruiser at 10:30am, and by the end of that same day we were headed out on a 700 mile trek to bring it home. The adventure is kinda fun!

"New" 1989 Winnebago Elandan

My wife and I just bought a 1989 Winnebago Elandan 37'. Its in really good shape for the age. Gen won't start, got to clean out the carb on it, and brakes are sluggish. But I was able to drive it 70 miles to get it home. I only have the pics from when I picked it up. My wife and I are going to be fulltiming in it while we fix it up. Its just got a lot of little things wrong with it. It should be real easy to fix them. So I think I did the pictures right.

Hey 2gringos, looks like this picture was taken at a vintage RV Rally?

I think it was some kind of local club outing. We were in the Lakeside KOA west of Ft. Collins, and woke up on a Friday morning to a bunch of trailers arriving for the weekend. A lot of Airstreams, but there were others too. Especially a lot of really small trailers. They left Sunday morning. We've got photos of several of them.

Thanks windcruiser, we both love it. It was really clean and leak free when we picked it up. We both really wanted the 37' beacuse we would be living in it full time.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that travels with a bird, mines a Goffin's Cockatoo, named Stella.

Nice looking rig. We have a 1990 that looks about the same floor plan. Enjoy your adventure!!!!

We just got it and are making sure everything works on it before we take out to the east coast right after the holidays. I know we should take it on a shakedown cruise beforehand, anyone know how far or how long?

Old Executive MH

This MH belonged to my father. Pix are from early 90s, but I think it is a 1970s vintage. I only saw it once, actually the last time I saw my Dad. He drove it to see the grandkids, and passed a few weeks later. Anyone know what year it might be? He had a trailer for many years and finally got the MH which he had always wanted to do. Now I want one, LOL. Got a trailer right now.

1972 Trillium trailer

Here are some pix of our 1972 Trillium trailer. We bought it 3 years ago and sold it this year for what we paid for it. Now have a bigger trailer with all the mod cons, but the Trillium was fun!
