New to you Airstream.

I showed the pictures to my husband. He said"are you sure that is a used unit". Did you buy it already restored? Or did you do the restoration and the polishing?

It was a mess when i bought it.i gutted the interior and stripped/polished the exterior. It's been a fun project...still ongoing! Hard to believe it is 30 years old!

1954 50 ft. Spartan

It belonged to a "Combining Crew" when I bought it in 1981. Stripped out all wood. (cabinets, wall paneling, ceilings) water lines, sewer lines, all electrical wiring, all appliances.

Rebuilt the interior to include cutting a hole and building a slideout room.Click image for larger version

I think with the slide out that wouldm't be mudch of a problem.

She really looks nice. Can you share some pictures of your install of the flat screen. I know a number of us out here want to do the same to ours.

Are you FT or just like to do lots of vacations? What are some of your favorite locations?

Not at all! Should be done by next week. I am a musician here in Nashville and my band and I play shows primarily in the Southeast. The most interesting place we've been this fall was Mulberry Mountain in the Ozark National Forrest near Fayetteville, Ark. The road was very treacherous pulling 7000lb trailer but fun no less.
