As for the delam issue you seem to have, it would probably be too much time and trouble to do yourself or even pay to have it done. That cost alone could put you in to a newer coach, I'd bet.

Now, that oil leak. I'd hold off judgement on the main seal. I thought my 5.9 Cummins had a bad seal until I found that I had two issues. One, the slobber tube for the engine was just plain coating the entire front of the engine and radiator. Two, I had an oil pan gasket leak. Zip tied a Gatorade up over the slobber tube to catch the oil and replaced the pan gasket. No more oil baths and crud. I do have a valve cover gasket leak that will be addressed this summer when I pull the rads for cleaning and inspection and have all the rubber cooling hoses replaced.

That was being brought about, as I used two gallons of antifreeze on my recent 3k mile trip to Florida. I am hopeful that it is a minor hose leak of some kind. I'm pretty sure all the coolant lines are 1999 vintage and they are all going to be replaced asap!!

Did you read power that Motorhome or did it come that way. I'm curious because it's a ferd.
Any idea what the rear end gear ratio is? I repowered my Fleetwood and used @n AT 542 but want to replace it with an Allison 1000 5 speed. I re geared to 4:56 but am curious what rear end gears are behind a 6 speed.

Could not say what gear ratio is. 5.9 was standard diesel for vectra in 94. Nice enough set up if your content with motoring down the road 60 mph. Gets between 11 and 14 depending on the wind.

The nice thing about the Cummins engines is you can hot rod them with a screwdriver and a wrench to get more ponies out of that thing and run 70 all day. I built my 5.9 to put out right around 350 horses. I am a hundred horsepower over the hp ratings on the Allison 542. But I'm thinking that I can beef up a 1000 the handle at horsepower and still get 12 to 13 out of it in my 37 foot Fleetwood. That's a nice rig you've got I'm jealous that you didn't have to build it like I did.
I would enjoy that immensely.

Picked this up last summer. My daughter is buying it from me. Everything works on it and I thought it was kind of neat looking. Have the original bill of sale and all the paperwork.
