New mwmber here. The link goes to our "new" 5er. I have yet to figure out the right way to have the picture appear instead of the link.

To post a direct image, you have to go to the Advanced tab, then select the little picture of a mountain icon.

I fixed it for you.

Thanks Ken, maybe someday I will get it right. Until then we thank you. I'm not sure where the advanced tab is. Well I found it just above here. I will try to get it right next time, no promises though.

At ther bottom of the window that you post a message there is a button that says "Go Advanced"...Right next to the "Post a Quick Reply". For some reason it will not work for me unless I go to the advanced section.

Our old unit 88 Corsair 27'. We renovated it and I repainted it with a fresh coat of white. New rubber roof. Ran it for one more summer then traded to a Class A. It had 120,000 miles on it. Not bad for a 460 with a c6 transmission. We were the 6th owner of this unit, when I talked to the dealership it was sold to a small family from Quebec,Canada.

Thank you! The unit is not new to us anymore - had it for 7 years - we had just been restoring and enjoying it ;-)

The setting was in front of my parents house here in Summerville - you just have to understand with the green comes the humidity!! Grin ;-)

I looked into the BAC but have to say we are more into a family setting around the campfire singing & telling stories than a "Social Mixer" - rather talk RV than golf --- just me I know.

Enjoy the forum but am still learning how to go about things - thank you for your work and efforts.

Buck

Our 1987 Beast

Hi all ,

Its a 1987 fleetwood Bounder 34 ft WB, John Deere chassis 460 Ford engine.

Not perfect but in pretty good condition.

I love seeing all of these old RVs. They have so much character and with a little TLC they are very serviceable.
