Nice looking rig Spritz.

Looks like you have the same Magic Chef stove/oven that we have in our '84 Fleetwood Prowler. Kinda rare just in themselves having 4 burners.

Rare RV's

Need to do some minor paint repairs on mine but not much. Just a few scratches where the former owner parked it a little to close to a tree.

From 1979 up until almost 1995 Fleetwood used almost the same gas ranges, toilets and bathroom set up in almost all their RVs. My Tioga was built by Fleetwood, so I can see the similarities there.

Very nice RV! A Fleetwood Southwind I assume? These were actually one of Fleetwood's top of the line models in the 80's and early 90's. this is not a rare RV because these were mass produced but it is vintage. The Fleetwood Bounder become Fleetwood's flagship Motorhome which replaced the Southwind (your RV) and I believe it is still so today. I don't know if the Southwind is still made. Rumor has it production stopped on the Southwind in the 90's or early 2000, and it is no longer manufactured. Most came with the Chevy 454 7.5 liter V 8 engine.

Wow does this bring back memories! These little travel trailers are worth their weight and gold. The first RV I ever owned was a travel trailer like this. Didn't even have a bathroom. I used the RV park bathrooms. 1955 Dalton Travel trailer. Just like the ones in the movies. It was a comfortable little camper with it's massive queen size bed and I still sorely miss that thing. That was the simple days before Motorhomes with all their complicated systems invaded my life. Back when nothing broke in an rv. I will never forget those days. Keep up the great work. Your going to have fun with this!!! I just know it!!!

I am a substitute school bus driver and get all over town here in the Bremerton area and it just gauls me to see all the old rigs that are just sitting in folks yards and falling apart. There is also a guy right down the street from me that is picking up some of the old travel trailers and reselling them as projects. He cleans them up and jacks the price a bit. Also saw an old Winnebago Indian in a side yard this am and in the backyard was a decent looking Brave. Not really sure if it was movable however.

Not that its been driven from Colorado to Minnesota for about 17 years. .......the "without a problem" part.

Waiting for someone to post a picture of a 1958 KenCraft 18' like my parents ordered in 1958. Kept blowing out tires cause it was so overloaded till they finally put heavy mobile home tires under it.
Even had on demand gas water heater and pressurized water system. Used to have to get out the old tire pump to pressurize the system.

I'll play... This isn't mine, but there was a vintage trailer rally where we were camping last year. This one was my favorite. Kudos to whoever comes up with make and model. Click image for larger version
