Question Rebal - LaGrange, Indiana

Hello. We have stumbled accross an older RV (1978) that we are basically restoring to brand new in our spare time (actually were making it better then it was when brand new). We have searched for any history on the brand but we cannot locate it anywhere. Makes us feel like this was the only one made. -ha ha. Have any of you heard of the make Rebal (with an A, not an E) brand from Lagrange, Indiana? It was mentioned by someone else that it was maybe part of the Fan Coach brand. ? Still cant find anything about it. ANY information or thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like they formed in 1972. No longer in business. Company President was Larry Vardaman with a last known corporate address of Rt. 4, Box 308A, LaGrange, IN 46761. A secondary address was Rural Rt. 1, Topeka, IN 46571. Company Secretary was Shan Morrison @ 207 W, Bell St., LaGrange, IN

Here's another direction; Looks like his next venture was United Sales Association, Inc., with an address of P.O. Box 211, Shipshewana, IN 46565. Secondary address; RR2, Topeka, IN 46795.

USPS postage is cheap. Maybe written correspondence to these addresses could get you some info. Happy hunting!

Thank you!!

WOW... That's awesome minibike!! Thank you so much for helping us. I will definitely be writing some snail mail. We were just in Shipshewana a couple of weeks ago... maybe we passed the Rebal man himself at the flea market. -ha ha. Thanks again... you're truly appreciated.

I hope it helps. That looks like a solidly built rig. Double axles on a 16-17' trailer. Sleeping in front and back w/mid kitchen? Post some pics of your restoration as it unfolds.

Yes it definitely is helpful. I've found a bit about the owner.. he lives just a couple hours from where we live. We thought the double axles were interesting on an rv this size too. Your right about the layout. Dinette/bed in front, kitchen and teeny bath in middle and sitting area in back, which were making a permanent near full size bed instead. I will post some pictures as we get closer to things being done. I appreciate your interest.
