Don't use TSP as a regular coach wash.- its very powerful and even a mild paint stripper.

Use whatever your favorite auto wash is, or Dawn, or Totally Awesome from the dollar store.

You should find the bugs and greasy gunk wash off much more easily after you finish with RMP.

While looking for RMP3 my local Lowes said it would be discontinued. Went to next town and they had 6 gallons of RMP3 and said it was not being discontinued. I piched a fit with Lowes corperate about my local store. They assured me that RMP3 was staying on the shelf at Lowes. In my search for an alternative, I contacted ZEP corporate and the said the identical product to RMP3 is ZEP high traffic. That was all 3 months ago. I applied RMP3 as chevman suggested to my 1993 Alpenlite. It looks like brand new. I just love looking at it. I did apply it on a windy day and live in the desert. The result was tiney grains of sand in my RMP3 finish, but it doesn't degrade the finish. It is enough to look at that finish, just don't feel it. Also applied a coating of EDPM rubber to my roof and a Pergo style floor in the living room. Wala! New coach for under a thousand dollars.

I've seen a lot of other floor polish products on the shelves of HD that may work just as good as RMP at 1/3 the cost. All it takes is somebody to try the other products.

I tried RMP on my counter tops and it worked great. A little Pledge once a week and the 35 year old counter tops look almost new.

Also makes old dull tail light lenses shine like a new nickle.

Makes me wonder if it is the same stuff that they sell to renew eye glasses. I use pledge on some old ones that I use in the shop, but it doesn't last too long.

Sad but true. Lowes is dicontinueing the RMP 3. Bought the last 2 gallons at the Lowes mentioned a few posts back. Price reduced to $7.12 clearence. I told the manager that Lowes was making a mistake. Now I have 2.5 gallons for the future.

I applied it in November, got a few drips on my glasses, and a little overspray from e spray bottle I used.
Well, here it is Feb, and I CAN NOT get the stuff off my glasses. I was them every day sometimes twice, but no luck.

I expect my RMP Finish will last and last.

I also bought the Aerowash dry wash system. I haven't got the MH dirty the two time I've taken it out so no chance to try it yet. If it is anything like the stuff I use on my Motorcycle, I will be very happy.

I have used nail polish remover(acetone) to get paint off of my glasses. If you have some old ones made of the same material, try it on them. I didn't hurt mine.

We did ours this week and it does look great. Some idiot didn't think about before and after pics to compare and contrast.

I will say that the shine can bring out imperfections. Specifically (on ours), we had a small area under the dinette window that had delaminated. Before we put the RMP on you could see it if you were looking for it. Now it jumps out like a boil on the middle of your forehead. I wonder if I painted it red...

The other side of the coin is I had some tree limb type scratches from over the years that have disappeared.
