Is the sealer shinier than the finish?

That's what I have, but it doesn't have the number 3 on the label.

I jus t looked up the labeling, I guess it varies.
Here it is.

Zep Wet Look Floor Finish is Step 3 of the 4 step floor program. Contains 20% solids and is formulated to dry quickly into a high gloss, "wet look" coating. This products quality finish resists scuffs and black heel marks and responds excellently to ultra high-speed burnishing for moderate maintenance procedures.

Resists scuffs and blocks heel marks
Quick, dry formula
High gloss wet look finish
Long lasting shine
Note: Product may vary by store.
MFG Brand Name : ZEP
MFG Model # : ZUWLFF128

Last year when Lowes started to delete RMP 3, I called Zep product support to find the eqivilant to RMP 3 in Zep. ZEP tech told me ZEP high traffic was same as RMP 3

Here's a challenge; buy the High Traffic and the Wet Look, apply each to a test surface and see which one has the best shine. Post the results here.

Dunner thinks it's fun spending someone else's money.

I don't think it would matter which one shines better, one is wax, one is a sealer. The wax will wash off, the sealer won't unless you use the stripper.

Which one are you saying is a "wax"? It took the ZEP stripper to get the "Wet Look" off my trailer door when I put it on too heavy.

I put it on my S&B counter tops and a wet rag with Dawn did nothing to the shine.

The bottle I have sitting in front of me says to strip the floor, use the sealer then use the wet look.

Un-confuse me. Maybe RMP#3 is different the ZEP Wet Look.

Instead of the stripper, use bar keepers, and clean the surface real good. Follow the instructions given here in the forum and you can't go wrong.

I believe the previous poster meant he had to use the stripper to get drips and runs of the Wet Look off (not in the initial prep).

He's right- the acrylic is tough stuff once it dries, and its a bear to remove when you get it on the wrong spots. That's why the instructions specify "very thin coats".

Exactly Chief, and Thanks.

I messed up. Some peoples idea of a very thin coat differ. I used a micro fiber pad on a Swiffer and a squirt bottle to put the "Wet-Look" on, and used too much. There is no way BKF will even think about putting a dent in the Wet-Look.

Dave, That's what I have. Just how many "ZEP Wet-Look Floor Finish" products are there? I only saw one at HD.

I posted that I bought the ZEP Wet Look, because I couldn't find RMP#3 at Lowe's, in post #64 on page five.
