My cheap to the bone brother painted a Chevy van... with a roller. It actually looked good till you got real, real close.

No ma'am... but common sense will tell you that Acrylic is plastic, and plastic peels if you put it on too thick.. No matter what its actually on..

I also put it on some 36 year old counter tops, a computer desk top and my sand rail tube frame.

I'm gonna do like Forest Gump does with shrimp; Gumbo Wet Look, Fried Wet Look, BBQ Wet Look, Wet Look soup, etc...

Despite the fact that dozens, if not hundreds, of people have tried it on Rvs and boats (boaters were the first to try this several years ago) and reported success for as long as a year or more? It's funny how the only scoffers are those who haven't actually used it.
