Refrigerator

Just purchased a 1988 Fleetwood Jamboree class "C" RV, trying the appliances, the refrigerator to be exact. I have been told that usually it will take 24 to 48 hours for the refrigerator to become COLD. Is this true?

Yes, even my residential fridge will take 18 hours to get cold.
