Renew or Trash Exterior Siding?

Planning first restore.
What options an how to's does anyone have for restoring or replacing the exterior siding?
Dents an tears in the aluminum.
Where do you draw the line between restore or purchase new siding?
If needing new siding for replacement where is a good resource?
Not sure what I need to plan on?

Not sure where to buy that kind of aluminum siding. I think it uses joints that hook together so it seals out water.

I've talked to these guys HERE before... the owner seems pretty knowledgeable and was more than willing to spend some time on the phone with me. They make all sorts of siding like this, some standard, and some custom. I'd wager money they can find you what you need, whether you decide to cut and past, or just replace all of it.
