Replacement Steering wheel?

If you look at the thread "Its home" Page 5 post # 62 you will see my OEM steering wheel. Its in terrible shape. I want to replace it with something the same diameter and look sporty. Anyone ever replace theirs on a 79 vintage or close MH? Ideas and photos welcome!

Not on that year but..... First steering wheels are more or less uniform. Though some companies do use special designs... On my Workhorse (a 2005 model) due to my size I had serious issues seeing the speedomoter and being as I have a solid lead toe,,, I really need to see that dial.

So I ended up tracking down the company that made the "Delux" wheel (VIP (Vehicle Improvement Products) and they hand made one 2" larger than what Workhorse supplies... Looks nice, and I can see the dial.

Home is where I park it!

Check out the salvage yards as that is a common type steering wheel. If you can, go to one of the y pull it yards and graze over till you find whatever you want. I did the same and get a newer one similar to yours. Dan

I'm lost. I've gone to look for me. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait.
