Replacing old Bargman L300 entry lock with newer Trimark
The springs and rotating assembly were worn out on my old Bargman L300 lock, and when I bought the Class C, the keys were missing.
I would have to set the deadbolt inside, then climb out the cab to lock it.
New L300's ran $150+
Trimark and several others (AP 013-257) make L300 replacement locks, and they ran over $100.
I found that the common Trimark 60-1650 has the same cutout, latch bore, and backspacing as the old L300, so I bought one for $70.
I had to drill a new hole for the deadbolt and notch the frame for the taller strike plate, and it fit great! Pics to come.
