I would like to use it before the weather turns too cold . Being realistic I am hoping to go see some fall foliage .

Looks like the flooring decision has been made. I just had a large quantity of Cherry pergo donated to me . Should be enough to do the floor many times over. Gotta go pick it up then I can restart the stalled project,

Flooring

Love the cherry flooring. You can spray paint your metal steps and they will come out looking brand new. Wire brush and clean off with paint thinner. Let dry and use a piece of cardboard as a paint shield. You may also unbolt the steps for painting. We use Rustoleum spray paint. It is worth the price.

started the Dinette

I put the inside wall in along the bottom of the wall behind the dinette.that way I could rough in the dinette benches, they came out of my 74 Shasta TT.(only after I located a clutch head screw driver bit) I started to install them to get the proper height and spacing. The cushions that came with the Mallard are wider then the benches so I had to make a spacer for along the wall to add about 1/2" also they were shorter then the mallard benches so I laid 1X2's on the floor and made a box to set them on. still have plenty of finish work on them as they were w U shaped dinette bench and now are just a 2 bench set-up.
But atleast I am back to building again.

The problem with doing a total interior rebuild I have found is the indecisiveness , I started the walls with one product , and now I want something better. So we are changing from painted tempered hardboard to wall paneling (light birch colored) with no paint that will give me a more modern but still 70's 80's vintage look. Plus shave a few dollars from the cost. Tempered hardboard was $8.99 a sheet paneling is $14.99 a sheet but no paint and no primer needed. Now I'm thinking of painting the exterior next spring . Does anyone know if I will need an additive for the paint or should automotive paint be adequate ? I have painted a few dump trucks before but never anything made of Fiberglass .

Finally some more progress I put up 2 sheets of the new paneling behind the dinette, then re-installed the benches with some modifications.
