We were speechless.

I assume you are not from the South. When someone says " look at ole Joe, he fell out of his chair again. Bless his heart."

Translation is- ole Joe is a good boy but he sure is stupid.

What about having 3 or 4 window air conditioners supported or non supported by a 2x4, concrete blocks and the usual amount of duct tape either securing it to the walls or keeping said a/cs in place.

I've had a Travel Trailer with a window AC I installed. It wasn't supported by 2X4 and there was no duct tape involved though.

The fact of the matter is that a business can discriminate against you for anything but the top five - sex, age, religion, ethnicity and national origin (think I got those right). I guess no shirt and no shoes is just a tradition

It's their business, so they will sink or swim by their policies. But I'm sure the thinking is nice rig = has money = will not cause me any problems = willing to spend it at my business.

When you call in to make a reservation, the ones that worry about this kind of thing will ask you how old your rig is. That is when you should have an honest conversation about how nice your rig is. Most times they will make an exception if your rig is in good nick.

I am certain that just about any RV park in North America would love to have Ernie's Wanderlodge (pic above) as a customer in their park. That's a sweet bus.

Some places will make an issue of it if you show up and your rig is a real wreck. I've seen many of the traveling gypsy type, so I understand why a park owner doesn't want those on his front row.

thank you, sir, for the compliment. I also have a 29 foot new haulmark trailer to pull behind that matches the light gray color.
