Sealing Leaky Metal Roof

My 78 fleetwing was leaking when I got it last year. I just went and got some elastrometric roof sealer. Painted it over top of what ever was on it before. It held up until a few weeks ago.I got up there and it all pealed off. My brother and I spent half and hour peeling off the old stuff.
This thing has a galvanized tin roof. IT leaks in the back where the tin meets the aluminum siding. The back is not a 90 degree angle. It curves. What does everyone recommend for sealing this up.

I got some 2 inch wide tape for sealing a trailer house roof then Im going to clean it up as best I can then just go back over with the elastrometric again.

How about and indoor/outdoor caulk like you might use around the bathtub or a window? You should be able to get that into the corners and curves pretty well. Not sure, just a suggestion.

Years ago when I had a Winnebago with a metal roof I used a product called “Quick Roof” which consisted of flexible aluminum covered mastic. I believe it was used in the housing industry and came in different widths. It easily formed to irregular shapes and never leaked on anything I used it on.

Seler

Go yo hardware store and but a can (not tube type) of thru the roof sealant. Just brush on with a paint brush. Easy as can be. Dries clear and will seal! Carry a can in the coach always. Just used to seal top of windshield.

Safe travels

Ill continue to use and swear by gutter tape. Its a tar based product with a nice white face. Used for sealing the joints of gutters. 100% water proof and waaaay cheaper than eternabond.I get 50' rolls 6" wide for $14.

Your repairs are coming along nicely. You are doing all the right steps. The supreme test will be a rain storm. Keep us posted.
