I think Shasta made tt's back in the 60's and maybe early 70's, some of which (but not all) had "wings" located at the top rear. Is this true?

If so, do you know when they quit using them?

Here's one I saw last week here in California. It was being towed by a 62' Ford Galaxy,also read

Thanks Bob... very nice rig and I like the tow vehicle too!

Looks like someone transplanted them from a 1959 or 1960 Chevy.LOL-opps,now I am tell you how old I am.

Skip, Shastas had the "wings" as far back as I can remmember. Don't know if I ever knew the reason for it but then I"m older than you are lol. Judy just walked in and she thinks it had sosmething to do with Greek Gods???

According to this web site they had them from 1958 until 1984/1985 however many seem to have removed or lost them through the years.
