Well we bought a 99 Rockwood a couple of weeks ago and sold our 71 Redman last night. We have enjoyed our fixin up and trips in the Redman but knew we wanted more room and options so we found the Rockwood and have been out in it already. Love it. We hope to have it a long time.

The numbers of people stopping by looking at our Redman was well more than expected. Most of them said they couldn't believe it was a 71 model. It isn't new but looks real good for it's age. Absolutely nothing has been done to the outside of it. All original. Thanks to this forum for helpful hints and pics of other vintage rigs.

We just sold our vintage unit as well,(on Sunday) I was sad to see it go but a lovely young family will be enjoying our great little renovated unit!
And now I can't wait to get camping again in the spring with our new-to-us unit. Only 6 or so months to go!

We enjoyed our time fixing the 71 up and the trips we took in it this year. We decided early on we really needed more room and a full time bedroom to be comfortable. We were actually looking at a 25' or so with slide out but this 99 Rockwood 2502 became available at a great price so we jumped on it. Very roomy and will better fit our needs for a long time to come.
We sure didn't have any trouble selling the 71. We had 10 lookers in an hour and a half one day. I wish I had 4 more already fixed up for sale. LOL
I know ya'll will enjoy your newer one as well.
