i really like it,,,but i do know the old holidays are heavy and well built,,,i have a 68 28ftr pull behind that looks brand new inside,,,well almost just have to do a few little touch ups then paint the exterior this spring,,,,the dw and i have 3 vintage and its the newest of our fleet..and were always looking for another...i use to love the old shastas and airstreams but u just see them to much...we love different and that my friend is different,,,,,,fix her up and keep it...

A 1970's IHC pickup would be perfect. The International Harvester Travelall and pick-ups were the Airstream world tour vehicle of choice.

I've never seen or heard of anything like that. Still, IMHO anyway, much more "cool" factor in the one you have now vs. something like that.

Suggest that there are a few pretty neat 5er's you might check into if you've already outgrown the Amerigo or shopping for the "next" project. Or maybe apply your new found skill set to a classic MH....

Love the IH. Had a 73 3/4 ton. What a beast that was. 392 so lots of power.

I'm a little late to the party here but yes, they are pretty rare. Not many of them were made. When it comes to old Holiday Rambler stuff, they are close to the holy grail. If you can buy it and restore it, you will have a very unique RV.
